Mildred E. Stepnicka, 64, Homemaker

Mrs. Stepnicka was born January 10, 1941 in Cleveland and has lived in Avon since 1975.

Mrs. Stepnicka was a homemaker and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Avon. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Gerald R. Other survivors include daughter Jennifer L. DiChiro (John) of Sheffield Lake; son, Gerald E. Stepnicka of Avon, granddaughter Alexus. She is also survived by three sisters: Mary Jane Mehlman of North Ridgeville; Helen Dick of North Ridgeville and Theresa Burdette of Sharpsville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Jennie (nee Derr) Geromowsky.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon, on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer service at the funeral home, Thursday, February 17, at 9:15 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, 33601 Detroit Road, Avon at 10 a.m. Fr. John Misenko of the church will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Jaycox Road, Avon.
