Katherine Alice Laub, 93, Enjoyed flowers and gardening

She was born May 31, 1911 in Vermilion and had been a resident for over 30 years. She had lived in Elyria, Pompano Beach, Florida, and Cleveland Heights.

Mrs. Laub was an office worker at Thew Shovel, Lorain. She was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed traveling, flowers, and gardening.

Survivors include her sister: Mary Jane Porter of Vermilion, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Robert Laub in 1992; parents: Dr. Bernard and Orhpa Mae (nee Post) Buell; and her brother: Henry Buell.

Friends may call Monday at the Riddle Funeral Home ~ 5345 South Street from 11 a.m. until time of graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at Brownhelm Cemetery, North Ridge Road, inVermilion. The Rev. Elizabeth Terrill, pastor of the Brownhelm Congregational United Church of Christ will officiate.
