Nancy Ann Sobol, 63, Travel Agent

She was born August 26, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois and lived in Avon Lake the past thirty years. She also had resided in Bay Village and Park Ridge, Illinois.

Mrs. Sobol was employed as a travel agent with Destination Travel in Westlake. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake and both St. Joseph Church and Holy Spirit Church choirs, the Lorain County Civic Chorale and was active with Monty Goliath Productions in Avon Lake. Nancy enjoyed singing and traveling.

Mrs. Sobol is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frank; two daughters, Mary Muller (Lynn) and Julianne Sobol both of Avon Lake; and two sons, Scott Sobol (Susan) of Lorain and Tim Sobol (Elyse) of Rocky River; four grandchildren, William Muller, Samantha, Anna, and Charlie Sobol; and her mother, Viola J. Monzel (nee Machmert) of Avon Lake.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Monzel.

Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 2-4 & 7-9pm Thursday, January 13, 2005. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake on Friday, January 14 at 10:00am. Fr. James Becherer will officiate. Cremation by Busch Crematory will follow services.
