Aileen M. McNair, 80, Secretary
Aileen M. McNair (nee Stuller), age 80, of Lorain, died Wednesday December 29, 2004 in the intensive care unit of Community Health Partners Hospital and Surgical Center following an extended illness.Mrs. McNair was born in Lorain on August 7, 1924 and had been a life-long resident of the city.
She was a graduate of Lorain High School who was formerly employed as a secretary for the Magic Chef Corporation of Lorain.
Aileen was an avid reader who had a special interest in mystery stories and cook books. Additional interests included gardening, and gourmet cooking.
Survivors include her husband of fifty-one years: John A. McNair, sons: Thomas A. of Elyria and David S. residing in Texas, grandchildren: David A. McNair, Joseph T. McNair, Eric S. McNair, Ryan M. McNair, and Emily T. McNair, great granddaughter: Victoria F. McNair, and a sister: Elizabeth Rusine residing in Cave Creek, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Zitricky) Stuller, by a sister: Justine Stuller, and by brothers: Joseph, Frank, Albert, and John.
Visitation will be Sunday from 24 & 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel - 3224 Broadway Avenue - Lorain. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Reverend Stephen Sedgewick, Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer and the Reverend Frank P. Kosem, Pastor of Saint Jude Catholic Church in Elyria co-officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park - Amherst Township.
