Mark S. Lynch, 41, Foster Parent
Mark S. Lynch, age 41, of Amherst, died Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at his home following a illness of 4 months.He was born May 8, 1963 in Lorain and had lived in the area all of his life.
Mark was employed by Multifoods in Elyria as 2nd shift lead man for 15 years. He was a member of Amherst Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Lynch and his wife were foster parents that have fostered 29 children in the 12 years that they have been associated with ‘’The Twelve Inc.’’ of Elyria. He was a member of Grainmillers Local 19. He enjoyed hunting, working with tools, music, camping, and sports.
Survivors include his wife: Judith L. (nee Frye), to whom he was married to for 17 years. Sons: Matthew Frye, Shaun Lynch, Ryan Lynch, Stephen Lynch, Kevin Lynch, and Thomas Lynch, all at home; daughters: Olivia Lynch and Alexandria Lynch, both at home; mother: Mary Lynch of Lorain; sisters: Linda Goff of Lorain and Ruth Rollins of Lorain; and a brother: Adam Lynch of Katy, TX.
He was preceded in death by his father: Vernon R. Lynch; brothers: Paul E. Lynch and David A. Lynch; paternal grandparents: Lafayette and Cora Lynch; and maternal grandparents: Samuel and Juanita Buffington.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-9 p.m. at the Amherst Church of the Nazarene, 210 Cooper Foster Park Road, in Amherst. Funeral services will be on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Richard Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
