Anna Kibalchich, 83, Loved the Outdoors

Anna Kibalchich (nee Gnap) 83 of Lorain died Sunday, December 19, 2004 in her son's home following a brief illness.

She was born December 21, 1920 in Hoczew, Poland. She came to Lorain in 1948 as a newly wed.

Mrs. Kibalchich was a homemaker and mother who loved the outdoors. She was an avid gardener and fed the birds and other wildlife. She enjoyed baking, making perogies and canning her own vegetables.

She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church and was a member of its choir. She was also a member of Saint Mary Sisterhood of Saint Peter and Paul Orthodox church.

Among the survivors are her son Victor J. Kibalchich of Lorain; a grand daughter; Brother John Gnap of Hoczew, Poland and a sister Katherine Prystasz of Parma.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years John Kibalchich in 1995, parents Michael and Julia Gnap.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 21, 2004, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio. Where Parastas will be Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM. Friends may also call 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 Am in Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, 2238 East 32nd Street, Lorain. Arch Priest Basil Stoyka, Pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
