Dorothy ''Dolly'' Palmer, 46, Enjoyed traveling
Dorothy ‘’Dolly’’ Palmer (nee Wilson), age 46, of Lorain, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at University Hospitals of Cleveland following a lengthy illness.She was born September 6, 1958 in Elyria. She has been a resident of Lorain all her life.
Dolly was employed by CenturyTel as a customer service rep for 21 years, retiring in 1999. She was a 1977 graduate of Lorain High School.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church of Lorain. She enjoyed travel, especially to Las Vegas, playing softball, and bowling.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years: Richard; sons: Richard Palmer, Jr. of Grand Junction, Colorado; Jonathan Fames Palmer, at home; and Thomas Anthony Palmer, at home; daughter: Mary Elizabeth Palmer, at home; 2 grandsons; father and step-mother: Arch and Joyce Palmer of Belpre, OH; brothers: Donald of Port Orchard, Washington, John of Lorain, Daniel of Fairport Harbor, OH, and Arch Jr. of Amherst; sisters: Danielle White of Lorain, Dawn Ruth Neil of Spencer, OH, Angela Diaz of Lorain, and Amy Hirzel of Genoa, OH.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy Wilson in 1984.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, 2004 at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Ave., Lorain, with at Christian Wake at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church in Lorain. The Rev. Mr. Luis Maldonado will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
