Charlotte T. Derise (nee Fedor), 97, of Avon, died Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Avon.She was born November 20, 1907 in Jersey City, New Jersey. She was raised in Erie Pennsylvania and returned to Jersey City where she lived most of her life before moving to Westlake and Avon areas in 2000.
Charlotte worked as a Tool and Die Maker and Inspector during World War II, and helped to report a saboteur at the "Norden" Bomb Production sites in New Jersey.
She was also a homemaker and attended Holy Trinity Church, Avon. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Dense is survived by a son, Francis X. of Avon, a grandson, Gerald of Avon and a Great Grandson, Philip of Avon.
She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony and her parents, Frank mid Loretta (nee Kaitkowski) Fedor.
Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon Wednesday, December 15 from 10 a.m. until time of prayer services at Noon. Fr. John Misenko of Holy Trinity Church will conduct the service. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
