Alynne Carol Grauel, 65, Enjoyed boating

Photo of Alynne Carol Grauel Alynne Carol Grauel (nee Hasenflue), age 65, of Huron, and formerly of Vermilion, died Friday, December 3, 2004 in Firelands Regional Medical Center Main Campus, Sandusky, following a lengthy illness.

She was born October 1, 1939 on Lorain, OH. She had lived the past 12 years in Huron, moving from Vermilion.

Alynne had worked as the General Manager for WLRO, Lorain, was in sales for the Vermilion Photo Journal, and had done sales and bookkeeping for various businesses.

She was a member of Huron United Methodist Church. She had enjoyed working with the Harrison boat racing team, biking, cooking and leisure boating.

Survivors include her 2 daughters: Tammy Mathews of Charlotte, NC, and Dawn Swineford of Huron, OH; 2 grandchildren; and a brother: Rich Hasenflue of South Amherst, OH.

Preceding her in death was her husband: Dr. Jack Grauel in 1992; parents: Allen and Dorys (nee Colmer) Hasenflue; daughter: Penny Harrison; and son: Todd Harrison.

Friends may call the Monday, December 06, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Roger Skelley-Watts, pastor of Huron United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
