Mary King, 84, Office Manager
Mary King, 84 of Vermilion, died Wednesday, December 1, 2004 in Community Health Partners West after a sudden illness.She was born May 26, 1920 in Boardman, PA and has been a Vermilion resident since 1934.
She worked for Ohio Edison for over 30 years as an office manager in the Vermilion office and a billing clerk in the Lorain office.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion were she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was a member of the Ohio Edison Women's Club, member of the Farm Bureau, and A.A.REP. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and collecting music boxes and vases.
Survivors include her son, Joseph "Joe" King of Vermilion, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Stephen King in 1998, parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Barta) Lezak, and 2 brothers; Joseph and Steven Lezak.
Friends may call Sunday Dec. 5, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio where St. Mary Catholic Church Altar Rosary Society will say the Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St. Vermilion, Monday Dec. 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Jim Holmer, pastor, will be officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
