Myrle Evaline Feightner, 92, Enjoyed sewing

Myrle Evaline Feightner (nee Berry), age 92, of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Lorain died on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at her residence in Springfield.

Mrs. Feightner was born on August 31, 1912 in Lorain, OH.

She was retired from the J. C. Penney's Department Store in Lorain and was a 25 year employee of the Chris Towne Penney’s store in Phoenix, Arizona. She was active as a Girl Scout leader in Lorain for 15 years. She was a member of the Grace Methodist Church in Springfield: where she participated in the UMW Circle and the Sew 'N Sews.

Survivors include sons Richard C. Feightner of Piqua, OH, John T. Feightner of Howard, OH, daughter Janice Keller of Springfield, Missouri, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Feightner in 1975, an infant daughter Joanne, her parents Oscar and Charlotte (nee Herbert) Berry and a sister Mildred R. Krieg.

Graveside services will be on Friday, December 3, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Connie Feightner, Mrs. Feightner's daughter-in-law will officiate.

The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Methodist Church, 600 South Jefferson Ave., Springfield Missouri 65806.
