Beryl E. Johnson, 72, Enjoyed Fishing and Hunting

Beryl E. Johnson, 72, of Lorain died Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at home following a lengthy illness.

Born on March 22, 1932 in Jackhorn, KY, Beryl was employed by Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, OH for over 23 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughters Enola Nelson of Lorain, Teresa Johnson of Lorain, and Mary Johnson of Lorain; sons John Johnson of Lorain and Kevin Johnson of LaGrange; sisters Sarah Knick of Lorain, LaRuth Burke of Lorain, Arbutus Haines of Vermilion, and Irene Reckart of Washington; brothers Ernest Johnson of Amherst, Connie Wayne Johnson of Hazard, KY, and Douglas McArthur Johnson of Vermilion.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Cleda M. (nee Dunn) Johnson; parents Morgan and Baby (nee Houston) Johnson; brothers Henry Clay Johnson of Vermilion and Charles Johnson of Wakeman.

Friends may call Sunday, November 28, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at Wyers Funeral Chapel 2900 N. Ridge Rd. Elyria. A funeral service will be held 11:00am on Monday Nov. 29, 2004 at Wyers Funeral Chapel. Pastor Steven Cain will be the Officiant. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Beryl E. Johnson Memorial Fund at any First Merit Bank.
