David Theodore Gerbick, Jr., 40, Enjoyed baseball and landscaping

Mr. Gerbick was born, November 16, 1964 in Lorain and had lived in both Amherst and Vermilion.

David was a 1983 graduate of Vermilion High School and graduated from ITT Technical Institute with a focus on electronics. He was employed as a computer specialist for Bown of Cleveland for 18 years. He enjoyed working with his bands, landscaping and baseball.

David is survived by his daughters: Jennifer L. Gerbick of Lorain, Lindsey S. Gerbick of LaGrange and Amanda C. Gerbick of Port Clinton. Other survivors include his granddaughter Jennaveeve S. White; his mother Cathy Peeble of Avon Lake and his brother Matthew Maxwell of Avon Lake.

He is preceded in death by his father David Theodore Gerbick, Sr.; maternal grandparents: Catherine and Thomas Peeble and paternal grandparents Stephanie and Theodore Gerbick.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, on Tuesday, November 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 24, at Avon Lake United Church of Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake at 11 a.m. Rev. Kelly Peters of the Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridgehill Memorial Park, Amherst.
