Karen A. Palmateer, 50, Radiology Technician
Karen A. Palmateer (nee Azzariti), 50, of Lorain, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at her home following a long illness.She was born June 28, 1954 in Boston MA and moved to Lorain in 1958.
Mrs. Palmateer is a 1972 graduate of Lorain High School. She is a graduate of Lorain County Community College radiology program. She was a radiology technician with the Amherst Hospital.
She enjoyed ceramics and the family dog, Fred.
Survivors include her husband of 3 years, Charles (Chuck) Palmateer, daughter, Lisa Dolinsky of Kingwood, TX, mother, Catherine Azzariti (nee Bowes) of Lorain and brothers, Robert of Lorain and Paul of Canton, MI.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert J. Azzariti.
Friends may call Sunday, November 21, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
