Margaret B. Heiser, 89, Homemaker, enjoyed reading

She was born January 8, 1915 in Waverly, OH and had lived in Avon Lake the past 48 years.

Mrs. Heiser was a graduate of Wheaton High School and then worked for at time as a secretary for the American Automobile Association. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Church Avon Lake and attended Holy Spirit Church, Avon Lake.

Margaret was described by her family as a voracious reader, enjoying biographies, autobiographies and books of geographic interest. When her eyesight failed she then enjoyed listening to books on tape. She had an interest in current events and listened daily to talk radio.

Her husband of 59 years, Jarnes E. Heiser passed away in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Jeanine Schaeffer (Frank) of Blue Ridge, GA and son James C. Heiser of Winters, CA. Other survivors include 3 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents: Beryl and Margaret (nee Cameron) Eylar and 7 brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held, Thursday, November 11 at 10 a.m. at Holy Spirit Church, 410 Lear Rd., Avon Lake. Fr. Janies H. Beatty of the Church will officiate.

Cremation will be by the Busch Crematory. Interment will be at a later date in the Bainbridge Cemetery, Paxton Twp., OH.
