Rose Mary Schneider, 89, Homemaker, enjoyed gardening

Rose was born June 19, 1914, in Henrietta Township where she was raised. She has been a resident of South Amherst since 1936, until moving to Amherst in 1999.

She was a member of Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Church in South Amherst. She was a homemaker who loved flowers and gardening.

Survivors include her brother Ben Rozsos of Amherst Township; her sisters Helen Dugovich of Middleburg Heights, Margaret Kinsley of Henrietta, Julia Denger of Xenia, Ohio; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. Schneider of fifty-five years on December 18, 1991; her brother Roger Rozsos in 1990; her sister Elizabeth Rozsos as an infant in 1918; parents Benjamin and Rose (nee: Catko) Rozsos.

Friends may call Friday, November 12, 2004 from 6-9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst where final prayers will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m.. Funeral services will follow at 10 a.m. at Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 333 South Lake Street South Amherst OH 44001. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in South Amherst OH 44001.
