Diane Marie Spisak, 43, Enjoyed her family and children

Diana Marie Spisak (nee Brandt), 43, of Avon, died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness (breast cancer).

She was born September 26, 1961 in Bay Village and was a lifelong resident of Avon.

She was a 1980 graduate of Avon High School. Diana was self-employed in day care. She enjoyed her family and children, sewing and home decorating, traveling, outdoor and athletic activities.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Johnny; her son Cole Michael Spisak; her father, Herbert L. Brandt of Avon and mother Virginia M. DeChant (nee Strachen) and step-father, Edward Dechant of Avon Lake; 4 sisters, Sharon Brandt of Avon, Nancy Duesler of Sheffield Village, Terri (Brown) Bartolovich of Avon and Rosey (Ondick) Park of Hinckley and brother, David Brandt of Avon; step-sisters Dotty Blackham, Debbie Acord, Dyan DeChant; 2 nephews, a niece and 3 great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Herbert & Lydia Brandt and Calvin & Mary Strachan, step-brother Eddie Dechant and special family friend, Dorothy DeChant.

Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon from 5-7 p.m. Friday and l0 a.m. until time of memorial services at Noon on Saturday, November 6. Rev. John Misenko, pastor of Holy Trinity Church, Avon will officiate. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
