Anna E. Rosso, 89, Enjoyed gardening and puzzles

She was born June 19, 1915 in Gallitzin, PA, and moved to Lorain in 1920.
Before she was married she had worked for Lorain Towel Supply. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, was a member of St. Rita's Guild and had served as the secretary. She had been the secretary of the Senior Citizens of St. Peter and worked for the voting booth. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and puzzles.
Survivors include sons, John J. Rosso of Lorain, James G. Rosso of Oberlin; daughter, Marie C. Kamholz of Aurora; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Yolanda Flynn of Lorain; and brother, Alfred Briches of Lorain.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph S. Rosso in 1985 and her parents, Gaetano and Nicoletta (nee Salvi) Briches.
Friends may call Sunday, October 31, 2004, 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio.
Prayers will be said in the funeral home Monday, November 1 at 9:30 am followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, with Reverend Robert Glepko officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
