Anastasia Astanasoff, 93, Receptionist
Anastasia Atanasoff, (nee Krupski), age 93, of Columbus, former long time resident of Lorain, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Arlington Court Nursing Home, Columbus, OH, following a lengthy illness.She was born on November 8, 1910 in Russia. She has resided in Columbus for the past 16 years.
She was employed as a receptionist for Dr. John Krupski for 16 years, retiring in 1982. Prior to this she was employed as a dental assistant for Dr. Young, in Lorain.
She was a former member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain.
She is survived by her son: Gerald of Columbus, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, brother: Dr. John Krupski, of Avon Lake, sisters: Fannie Charles, of Elyria, Marie Wilson and Eleanor Potocnik, both of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph in 1965, parents: Sergei and Dorothy Krupski and brother: Charles Krupski.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 28, 2004 from 5-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon. Rev. Milorad Orlich, pastor of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
