Marjorie Mae Dandrea, 43, Police Officer

Marjorie Mae Dandrea, age 43, of Live Oak, FL, formerly of Lorain, died Wednesday, October 20, 2004 at her home.

She was born in Oberlin on January 4, 1961. She moved to Live Oak, Florida three years ago from Lorain.

She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Live Oak, Florida.

Marjorie received a degree from the Lorain County Community College in Police Science. She graduated with honors from The Ohio State Patrol Police Academy in Columbus. While in Lorain, she worked as a Police Cadet and as a Dispatcher for Lorain Community Hospital. She also worked as a Police Officer in Medina.

She deeply loved her family and was deeply loved by her family. She was a born again Christian who enjoyed bible study. She enjoyed her dogs, Captain, Maxie and Zac and enjoyed taking care of her cat, Mr. Sarah. She enjoyed yardwork and taking care of her land in Florida.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce K (Dandrea) Carter of Lorain, father, Ronald Dandrea of Plymouth, Michigan, sister, Amy J. Carter of Lorain, brothers, Mark W. Dandrea of Jacksonville, Florida, 5 nephews, 2 nieces and her paternal grandparents, James and Jennie Bucci of Sandusky, Ohio.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Lydia Koleno.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 28, 2004 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. till time of service at 11 in the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Arlon Lowe officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
