Mitzi Rodriguez, 33, Mother and homemaker
Mitzi A. Rodriguez, age 33, of Lorain died Monday, October 18, 2004 in her home following a brief illness.She was born July 8, 1971 in Lorain and was a life long resident.
Ms. Rodriguez was a member of Saint Ladislaus Catholic Church Lorain. She was also a member of the Knights of Saint John, Lorain and the Azteca Club in Cleveland. She was a homemaker and mother who enjoyed dancing and watching boxing.
Among the survivors is her daughter Cecilia Cruz of Lorain; mother Rebecca Delgado of Lorain; brothers Frank Cruz, Jr. of Lorain and Randy Cruz of Mt. Washington, Kentucky sisters Justine Cruz of Cleveland, Monica Vazquez, Debbie Rodriguez and Melissa Gachupin-Anzurez all of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her father Frank Cruz, Sr.
Friends may call Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Ohio.
Funeral services will be Saturday with closing prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, East 29th Street and Wood Avenue, South Lorain. With the Reverend Father James Schmitz, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
