Rose C. Borsich, 77, Loving housewife and mother
Rose C. Borsich (nee Simonelli) 77 years of age, and a resident of Vermilion, passed away Friday, October 15, 2004 in the emergency room at the Amherst Hospital for Orthopedic Services, following an apparent heart attack.Rose was born July 12, 1927 in Providence, RI where she was raised. She has lived in Vermilion for the past 50 years.
Rose was a loving housewife and mother. She enjoyed flower gardening, square dancing, baking and being around her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Otto G. Borsich; her daughter, Mrs. Robert (Paula) Roose of South Amherst; her sons, John Swart and Doug Borsich both of Sommerville, S. Carolina, Duane Swart of Amherst Otto G. Borsich, Jr. of Staatsburg, NY and Michael A. Borsich of Wickliffe, OH; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; her sister, Julia Macaruso of Cranston, R.I.
She was preceded by 7 brothers, 4 sisters and her parents, George and Carmelia (nee Schira) Simonelli.
Services will be held privately by the family. Arrangements are being handled by the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst OH 44001.
