Dr. Braun, Veterinarian
Dr. Braun was born on October 15, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio. He graduated from Shawnee High School (Springfield) in 1963. He received his Bachelors of Science from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) in 1967. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University in 1917.Dr. Braun worked as a veterinarian with various offices throughout the area. He was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity, the Alpha Phi Veterinary Fraternity, Ohio, the Veterinary Medical Association, the Ohio State Alumni, the Miami University Alumni, the Masons and the Avon Lions. Dr. Braun was also a member of the Avon United Methodist Church.
Dr. Braun is survived by his wife of 36 years: Susanne, Daughters Kathleen Braun, Kristen (Braun) Jirecek, and grandson Nicholas Jirecek.
Dr. Braun's Parents, Dr. Braun I. Braun and Jane Casad Braun, predeceased him.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Avon United Methodist Church.
Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 16, at 10 a.m. at the Avon United Methodist Church, 37711 Detroit Rd. Avon, OH 44011, followed by the burial at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River, Ohio. A luncheon will be provided after the burial at the Church.
