Dorothy I. Telatnik, 79, Lifelong area resident
Dorothy I. Telatnik, age 79, of Lorain, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at Community Health Partners & Surgical Center in Lorain following a brief illness.
She was born April 9, 1925 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident.
She attended the Lorain Public Schools and also attended the Catholic Charities Adult Day Care Center. She was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter on Lorain. She enjoyed watching television, embroidering, and solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Survivors include her sister, Alice Kretovics, with whom she made her home in Lorain; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew, and 8 grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Wasiel and Pearl A. (nee Augustine) Telatnik.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2004 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Deacon Dr. Ralph Krupp from the Catholic Church of St. Peter will officiate. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
