William C. O' Hara, 86, Enjoyed fishing and golf
Wilbert C. O'Hara, 86, of Westlake, formerly of Avon Lake, passed away, Saturday, August 28, 2004 at his home at Brighton Gardens, following a short illness.He was born, September 6, 1917 in Cleveland and had lived in Avon Lake for 45 years before moving to Westlake 2 and 1/2 years ago.
Mr. O'Hara was a graduate of West Tech High School Cleveland and worked for General Motors at the Parma Plant as a Line Foreman retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Avon Lake and enjoyed fishing and golf.
Mr. O'Hara is survived by 2 daughters: Linda Collins (Bruce) of Sacramento, CA and Pamela Janicek (Anthony) of Avon Lake; and a son: Mike O'Hara (Cynthia) of Avon. Other survivors include 9 grandchildren: Abbey, Tony, Kelly, Julie, firm, Justin, Jackie, Pami and Kevyn; a great granddaughter: Ellie; and a sister Gladys Bohnert of Westlake.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara (nee Steets); and his parents: Wilbert C., Sr., and Ruth (nee Swartwood) O'Hara.
Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake from 9:30-11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31. Funeral services will be Tuesday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Fr. Timothy J. O'Connor of St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake, will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
