Andrew Dieringer, 17, Enjoyed baseball, bowling and swimming

Andrew “Drew” Dieringer, 17, of Avon Lake, passed away, Saturday, July 31, 2004 at St. John West Shore Hospital, Westlake, following a sudden illness.

Andrew was born January 8, 1987 in Atlanta and had been a life long Avon Lake resident. He attended Murray Ridge School. He played baseball with the Avon Lake Challenger League and bowled at Shoreway Lanes. He also enjoyed swimming.

He is survived by his parents Bruce and Roberta (nee Mott) Dieringer, his sister Rachael at home. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather Richard Mott of Euclid and his paternal grandparents Donald and Dolores Dieringer of Defiance, as well as many aunts uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Mary Ann Ott.

Friends may call at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2004. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 4, 2004 at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd., Avon Lake at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be forwarded to Handicamp, care of the Avon Lake United Church of Christ, 32801 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake.
