Amanda A. Crellin, 24, Enjoyed her kittens, and spending time with friends and family.
Amanda A. Crellin, age 24, of Westlake and formerly of Avon Lake, died Sunday July 4, 2004 in an automobile accident in Westlake.Amanda was born December 19, 1979 in Alexandria, Virginia and moved to Westlake from Avon Lake seven months ago. She was employed as a nursing assistant with Fairview Hospital, Cleveland the past 3 years, also worked as a babysitter for some of her neighbors. and was a student at Cuyahoga Community College, where she was expected to graduate as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2 weeks. She attended St. Joseph Church, Avon Lake and enjoyed her kittens and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include her father and step-mother, Thomas E. and Sally Crellin of Avon Lake; two brothers, U.S.M.C. Captain Thomas T.R. (Sandy) of Quantico, Virginia, and Brad of Southgate, Michigan; her maternal grandparents, Norman and Charlotte Kubb of Mentor-on-the-Lake.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia K. Crellin (nee Kubb) in 2002, and her paternal grandparents, Elwin and Eleanore Crellin.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Joseph Church, 32929 Lake Rd. Avon Lake on Saturday, July 10 at 10 a.m. Rev. Timothy J. O’Connor will celebrate the mass. Inurnment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon. Cremation will be conducted by Busch Crematory.
