Cheryl Ann Zickefoose, 42, An accomplished ballroom dancer

Cheryl Ann Zickefoose, (nee Dina), age 42, of Lorain, died Monday June 14, 2004 at her home while under the care of the Hospice of the Western Reserve following a brief illness.

Cheryl was born April 14, 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Lorain for the past 18 years coming from North Ridgeville.

She was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School whose interests included all forms of music, flowers, and home computers. She was also an accomplished ballroom dancer; Mrs. Zickefoose was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #1729 of Elyria as well as a member of the Elyria Moose Lodge #778 and Elyria Eagles Aerie #431.

She is survived by her husband of eighteen years: Arnold “Joe”, by brothers: Paul J. Dina, Jr. of Brunswick, Dennis Dina of Cleveland, James M. Dina of Medina, and John E. Dina of North Ridgeville, and sisters: Lydia L. Cobb and Carol A. Costello, both residing in Boston.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 p.m, and 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral chapel with Reverend Allen Boone and Reverend Mr. John Slatcoff, permanent deacon of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township officiating. Burial will follow in Garfield Cemetery in Sheffield Lake.
