Eileen Joan Bartoto, 80, Enjoyed Sewing

Eileen Joan Bartoto, age 80, of Oberlin passed away Thursday morning, April 22, 2004, at home after a long illness.

She was born Sunday, February 3, 1924 in Avon Lake, Ohio and lived in Lorain County all her life. She is a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Alter & Rosary Society for many years.

Mrs. Bartoto graduated from beauty school in Avon Lake and was previously a hairdresser at Terminal Tower in Cleveland & at the Saddle Inn in Avon Lake. Mrs. Bartoto also Co-owned Starlite Triple T Roller Rink in LaGrange for 15 years. Mrs. Bartoto was also a loving homemaker who enjoyed sewing, photo collecting, fishing, traveling, cooking, and caring for her family home.

She is survived by her husband Donald married 55+ years, three daughters, Peggy Linden of LaGrange, Ohio, Kathleen Mowry of Oberlin, Ohio, Patricia Farnsworth of Kipton, Ohio, 6 Grandchildren & 4 Great grand children, 2 Sisters Mary Lou McClain of Birmingham, Michigan, Shirley Pappa of Independence, Ohio, 2 Brothers Al Traxler of Dearborn, Michigan, Norbert Traxler of Avon Lake, Ohio

She is proceeded in death by her parents Albert & Lucille Traxler, and brother, Eugene.

Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Sunday, April 25, 2004, from 2:00 - 5:00 pm with a funeral mass in Sacred Heart Catholic Church 410 W. Lorain St. Oberlin, Ohio at 11:00 am on Monday, with Fr. William Padavick officiating. Prayers at the funeral home Monday will be at 10:15am, burial will be in Pittsfield Cemetery, Pittsfield Twp.
