Robin R. Pennington, 49, Enjoyed crafts, care giving, and fishing

Photo of Robin R. Pennington Robin R. Pennington (nee Parsons), age 49, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004 in New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, in Lorain.

She was born May 10, 1954 in Amherst, and had been a lifelong resident of Vermilion.

Robin worked as a dispatcher for Automobile Transport and Shermoco Inc., both of Lorain and she had a Plain Dealer delivery route. She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and enjoyed crafts, care giving, and fishing.

Mrs. Pennington is survived by her mother: Jeannine Parsons (nee Howard) of Vermilion; daughters: Heidi Nichole Parsons of Lorain and Jeannine (Jen) Louise Parsons of Vermilion; 1 grandson: Damien Parsons Carter of Lorain; a step-son: Craig William Pennington of Oviedo, Florida; 2 step-grandchildren: Tyler Pletz and Kayla Pennington; 4 sisters: Leah Bower of Sherman Oaks, California, Debbie Markman of Huron, Candy Kishman of Vermilion; and Cindy Brundage of Berlin Heights; a brother: Tim Parsons of Vermilion; 7 nephews; and 2 nieces.

Robin was preceded in death by her husband: William Pennington on October 9, 2003; and her father: Frank Parsons.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. in the Riddle Funeral Home; 5345 South Street, Vermilion.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Schultz officiating. Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
