Joseph E. Borocz, 75, Enjoyed working on cars and hunting
Joseph Emil Borocz, 75 years of age, and a resident of Amherst Township, passed away Friday, April 16, 2004 at Community Health Partners in Lorain following a lengthy illness.He was born July 30, 1928 in Elyria. He has been a life long resident of Amherst Township.
Joseph was employed as truck driver for many years working for several area trucking companies. He enjoyed working on cars, farming, and hunting.
Survivors include his son Donny Tolley of Amherst Township; his sister Margaret Bischoff of Amherst Township; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Borocz (nee: Nemeth); by his brothers Eugene Borocz, George Borocz, Frank Borocz, and Charles Borocz; and by his sister Magdalene Borocz in infancy.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. from the funeral home. The Rev. Fr. Michael Huszti, pastor of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Cleveland, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
