Nancy Jean Pogorelc, 67, Her grandchildren were her pride and joy

She was born November 20, 1936 in Lorain, Ohio, and was a life-long
resident.

Nancy graduated from Lorain High School. She worked for 30 years as a secretary for Lorain City Schools, retiring in 2001. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lorain. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Survivors include her husband: Louis J. Pogorelc, Jr., daughter: Susan
Maloney of Avon, OH; son: Lou Pogorelc of Avon, OH; 4 grandchildren;
two brothers: George Dovala of Lorain and Donald Dovala of Amherst;
and sister: Marilyn Borthwick of Elyria, OH.

Preceding her in death were her parents, George and Susan (nee Suster)
Dovala.

Friends may call Friday, April 9, 2004 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Volak-Riddle
Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio.

Services will be held at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, E. 33rd St.
and Pearl Ave., Lorain, at 10:30 am on Saturday, April 10, 2004, with
Reverend Laurie A. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood
Cemetery.
