Frances �Fran� Hegewaldt, 85, Enjoyed her family, sewing, dancing and traveling
Frances Fran Hegewaldt, (nee Barboric) 85, of Vermilion, died Saturday, April 3, 2004 in Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness.She was born April 3, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Frances worked as a hair dresser with her husband Herbert in their hair salon, Herbert's Coiffures. She sold real estate in Westlake and Vermilion and sold wigs to cancer patients. She was a former member of the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce and the Westlake Women's Club. She enjoyed her family, sewing, dancing and traveling.
Survivors include daughters: Pam Sampson and Nadine Uhler both of Vermilion; son: Max John Hegewaldt of Mississippi; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents: John and Mary (nee Minarik) Barboric; her 1st husband: George Trvdy; and 2nd husband, Herbert M. Hegewaldt on May 20, 1996.
Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
