Dorothy Jean Duesler, 79, Enjoyed her children and grandchildren

Dorothy Jean Duesler, 79, of Avon Lake, formerly of Avon, passed away, Wednesday, March 31st, 2004 at St. John West Shore Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mrs. Duesler was born April 13, 1924 in Cleveland and had lived at Beach Park Tower, Avon Lake for the past 3 years.

Mrs. Duesler had worked as an assembler for the Steamer Faucet Company, formerly of Westlake. She retired in 1989 after 20 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her husband Jack R. Duesler whom she married June 1, 1946, passed away, February 8, 1996. She is survived by daughters Linda Hill (Jesse) of Avon Lake and Lorraine Passerell of Elyria, sons John Duesler (Nancy) of Sheffield Village, Gary Duesler of Sheffield Village, Russell Duesler (Susan) of Avon and Dale (Cindi) of Avon. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, a brother Charles Ordner (Marge) of Pine Prairie, Louisiana, Nancy Gibson of Brooklyn, OH and Alice Thiess of North Olmsted. Besides her husband, Mrs. Duesler is preceded in death by a brother Richard Ordner, a grandson Joseph and her parents, Charles and Jean (nee Kroll) Ordner.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Funeral Services will he at the Funeral Home, Saturday, April 3rd, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
