Roberta "Bobbie" Comley, 65, Enjoyed cooking, her family, and collecting Elvis memorabilia

Roberta “Bobbie” Comley, age 65, of Amherst, died on Sunday, March 28, 2004 at the Hospital for Orthopedic and Specialty Services, following an accidental death.

Born July 30, 1938 in Lorain, Mrs. Comley had lived in the area her entire life.

Roberta attended Lorain High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. She enjoyed cooking, her family and collecting Elvis memorabilia.

Surviving her is her three sons: Andrew P. Comley, Jr. of Lorain, Anthony H. Tenerlo, of St. Petersburg, Florida, James A. Austin, Jr. of Clarksville, Tennessee; 3 daughters: Deborah G. Austin, Sylvia J. Austin-Mack, and Lisa M. Comley, all of Lorain; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother: Albert S. Matyi, of Amherst.

She was preceded in death by her husband, to whom she was married to for over 20 years: Andrew Comley in 1993; parents: Frank and Sylvia (nee Casey) Matyi; a daughter: Donna Benczi; grandson: Mark Allen Bena; and 2 brothers: Richard and Frank Matyi.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home; 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church; 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
