Milton W. Klesel, 88, Charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church
Milton William Klesel, age 88, of Grafton, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004 in Life Care Center of Elyria after a short illness.He was born Monday, November 15, 1915 in Weimar, Texas, living in the area most of his life. He is a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Eaton Township, where he was a trustee, and member of the building committee. Mr. Klesel served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 124th Cavalry SQ. as a light truck driver in China-Burma & Central India. He was employed by Ridge Tool Co. in Elyria for 30 years in the milling department as a machine operator until his retirement in 1978. Mr. Klesel enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and being active in his church.
He is survived by his wife Shirley married 59 years, daughter Elaine Klesel of Elyria, Ohio, son Kevin Klesel of Elyria, Ohio four grandsons, and a brother Edwin Klesel of Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by an infant daughter Marilyn, his parents William & Martha Klesel, and brother Albert.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with funeral services Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church 38307 West Royalton Road, Grafton with Rev. John Castellani pastor officiating. Burial will be in Woodvale Cemetery, Middleburg Heights Ohio.
