Alice P. Mitchell, 78, Enjoyed playing bingo
Alice P. Mitchell, age 78, of Sheffield Lake passed away Monday, March 22, 2004 at Kingston of Vermilion following a brief illness.She was born January 30, 1926 in Wyano, Pennsylvania and has lived in the are for 57 years, moving from Pennsylvania.
Alice worked in the Printed Circuit Board Department at Lorain Products, retiring in 1991 after 25 years. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her daughter: Roxann Baca of Lorain; 4 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Barbara Corr of Sheffield Lake, and Ethel Just of Philadelphia, PA.
Preceding her in death was her husband: Donald L. Mitchell in 1988; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. at the Riechlin-Cooley Funeral Home; 2920 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Reverend William Snydor will officiate. Intombment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Avon.
