Carlyne Ann Kovach, 66, Enjoyed needlepoint work and word search puzzles
Carlyne Ann Kovach (nee Newell), age 66, and a resident of Lorain, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2004 at Community Health Partners ER following a sudden illness.Born September 18, 1937 in Lorain, she has been a lifetime resident.
Carlyne was a homemaker. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Lorain and had been attending Broadway Assembly in Lorain. She was a member of RAW, a resident watch program, and enjoyed needlepoint work and word search puzzles.
Survivors include her husband: Larry Kovach, Sr. of Lorain; her sons: Larry Jr., of Lorain and William J. Bill Kovach of Sheffield Lake; daughter: Robin Rae Nolan of Lorain; fourteen grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth C. and Grace A. Newell (nee Yingling).
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Matt Jones, associate pastor of Broadway Assembly Church in Lorain will officiate. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
