Ruby Faye Sandifer, 85, Enjoyed reading and playing Dominos
Ruby Faye Standifer, age 85, of Grafton passed away Saturday, March 13, 2004 in Aristocrat Lakewood after a lengthy illness.She was born Tuesday, June 25, 1918 in Kansas City Missouri, living in Cuyahoga and Lorain County for over 60 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grafton, and was active in the Alter & Rosary Society.
She enjoyed reading and playing Domino's.
She is survived by three daughters: Rose Lucas of Detroit, Michigan, Rita Oliman of Lakewood, Ohio, and Rosalind Sewell of Centeville, Virginia, two sons, Raymond M. Standifer Jr. of Richmond, Virginia and Ronald M. Standifer of Woodbridge, Virginia, 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grand children.
She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1996 and her sister Esther P. Oliver in 1984.
Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. with funeral mass Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 708 Erie St. Grafton. Father John Seabold, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Grafton.
