Penny Lynnette Hill, 39, Enjoyed gospel music and babysitting

Born July 3, 1964 in Elyria, she lived in Lorain all her life. She attended school in Lorain, and graduated in 1961 from Job Corp. in north Michigan. She also attended Lorain County Community College for nursing before taking ill.

She worked at Lorain Metropolitan Housing as a receptionist at Kennedy Plaza, Lorain. She was a member of Church on the North Coast, Lorain, having attended many church functions in and out of town. She enjoyed gospel music, babysitting, and videos.

Surviving is her parents, James H., and Betty (nee Saunders) Hill, of Lorain, brothers, Kevin Hill, of Corona, CA, Kenneth Hill, of Los Angeles, CA, Vince Hill, of San Diego, CA, James D. West, of Elyria, Christopher Hill, James Hill, both of Lorain, and Tracy Jackson, of Lorain, sisters, Cecelia Saunders, Una Pamplin, and Tina Jackson, all of Lorain, Pat West, and Ruby West, both of Elyria, maternal grandmother, Ida L. McLemore, of Lorain, and many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her two bothers, which died in infancy, paternal grandparents, Nina Burroughs, and Arthur Hill, and maternal great grandfather, Frankie Saunders.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain Funeral services will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Church on the North Coast, 4125 Leavitt Road, Lorain. Rev. Greg Ball, Associate Pastor, will officiate Burial will follow in
Elmwood Cemetery.
