Stanley D. Szymanel Jr., 59, Auto mechanic, enjoyed racing and cars
Stanley D. Szymanel Jr., 59, of Lorain died Friday, March 12, 2004 at Ohio Extended Care in Lorain following a lengthy illness.
He was an Auto Mechanic for over 35 years and enjoyed racing and working on
cars. He was a member of the Corvair Club of America.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; daughter Celeste Beck of Warrensburg, MO
and Ursula of Lorain; sons Donald and Keith all of Lorain and Sean of
Vermilion; brothers Bob of Lorain, Edward of Elyria, and Jeff of Mentor on
the Lake; and 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Sophia Szymanel (nee
Kurish) and brother John.
Friends may call at 6:00 p.m. Sunday until the time of Funeral Service at
8:00 p.m. at Wyers Funeral Chapel, 2900 North Ridge Rd, Elyria. The Rev.
Jim Debrasson will officiate. A Committal Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
