Betty Lou Anderson, 64, Enjoyed church, cooking, and her family

Betty Lou Anderson (nee Tucker), 64, of Sheffield Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Born March 24, 1939 in Pikeville, Kentucky, Betty enjoyed attending church, cooking, family functions, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She was a long time Clearview Clippers Football fan.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years: Eugene Anderson; sons: Terry Anderson of Jackson, OH, and Brad Anderson of Sheffield Township; daughters: Malissa Anderson of Sheffield Township, and Connie Osborn of Amherst; 8 grandchildren; sisters: Bessie Elkins, Essie Coleman, Marcella Casebolt, and Rosetta Bentley, all of Pikeville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Dellie Tucker; brothers: Frank, Jesse, and Delbert Tucker; and granddaughter: Tacy Anderson.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 p.m. until the time of evening service at 7 p.m. at Little Edna Old Regular Baptist Church, Bond Avenue, in Sheffield Township, where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. Elder Holbert Justice will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Cemetery in Amherst.
