F. Dean Justice, 54, Enjoyed blues, blue grass music, and flying

F. Dean Justice, age 54, of Sheffield Township, died Friday, August 15, 2003 at his residence, following a lengthy illness.

Born March 8, 1949 in Pike County, Kentucky, Mr. Justice had lived most of his life in Lorain. He served two years in the US Marines during the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Justice had worked at US Steel, later Republic Technologies and now Republic Engineered Products, for 32 years as a Team Leader Machinist, retiring in 2003.

He loved country, blues and blue grass music and also enjoyed playing the guitar. He enjoyed flying and was aspiring toward obtaining his private pilot's license.

He was a member of the United SteelWorkers Union Local 1104.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, whom he married on July 16, 1971, Ethel "Dolly" (nee Butcher), 2 sons, Joshua D. Justice and Jessiah P. Justice, both of Lorain, 5 brothers: Jams Lester Justice of Lorain, Nary Gene Justice of Grafton, George Dewey Murphy of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Jack R. Murphy of Louisville, Kentucky and Ricky D. Justice of Sandusky, 3 sisters Fern Hunt of Pikeville, Kentucky, Betty Elkins of Sandusky and Brenda Roberts of Monticello, Kentucky, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, George D. Murphy and his mother, Tressie L. Thacker and his sister Bonnie L. Taylor.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2003 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 6:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain.
