Virginia M. Tressel, 58, Enjoyed bingo, and traveling to casinos
Virginia M. Tressel (nee Huhn), age 58, of Lorain, passed away at her residence after a sudden illness Friday, February 28, 2003. She was born June 10, 1944 in Norwalk, Ohio and has been a Lorain resident for most of her life.She was an assembler at the Lorain Ford Plant for 27 years. Virginia enjoyed playing bingo, and traveling to casinos. She also was an avid Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
She is survived by her sons Richard and Keith Tressel of Lorain, daughters, Brenda Marrero of Lorain, and Gayle Parker of Louisville, KY, 8 grandchildren, mother Helen Temple of Lorain, sisters: Dorie Camp of Lorain, Sue Hall of Lorain, Maryann Boardwine, of Lorain, and Linda Fantauzzi of Sheffield Lake, brother David Huhn of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband Neil W. Tressel in 1973, father William Huhn, in 1982, brother Alvin Huhn, and step-father Emil Temple.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 2, 2003 at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home, 2920 Broadway Ave., Lorain, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 3, 2003 at 11:00 am with Rev. Clyde Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
