Bernice L. Kumpf, 84, Enjoyed crocheting and ceramics
Bernice L. Kumpf (nee Keppi), age 84, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 in Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion, after a 1 week illness. She was born December 4, 1918 in Buffalo, New York. She has been a Vermilion resident since 1958.She volunteered at Community Health Partners in Lorain for many years. She had also volunteered at Manatee General Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. She enjoyed crocheting and ceramics.
Mrs. Kumpf is survived by 2 daughters, Jacqueline B. Foley of Vermilion and Eva L. Mouser of Vermilion, 2 sons, James C. Kumpf of Brandenton, Florida, and Edwin J. Kumpf of Vermilion; 22 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Kumpf on February 8, 2002; a granddaughter, Traci Jo Kumpf, September 18, 2001, and her parents Walter and Eva (nee Hunt) Keppi.
Services will be private. Interment will be held at a later date in Brownhelm Cemetery.
