Donnienita Auth, 77, Enjoyed Bingo

She was born July 14, 1925 in Marion, Ohio where she was raised and lived until age 20 when she moved to the Lorain and Elyria area. She has been an Amherst resident for over 40 years.

She was employed at the Kroger Grocery Store in Vermilion for 30 years retiring from the meat department in 1985. She was a member of Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Lorain, the Amherst VFW Post 1442 Ladies Auxiliary and the Lorain Amvets. She enjoyed bingo.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ronald M. Auth; her daughter Joyce Gonzales of Lorain; nine grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Lesley Naylor Auth in 2000; by her parents Sid and Marguerite (nee Forshey) Emerson; by her brother Eugene Emerson; and by her sisters Kathleen Seigler in 2000 and Rita Smith in 1984.

Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hemple Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
