Anna W. Muska, 85, Enjoyed crocheting, cooking for church, and being with family
Anna W. Muska (nee Weigl), age 85, of Vermilion, formerly of Lorain, died on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion, following a lengthy illness. She was born November 7, 1917 in Lorain, she had lived in Lorain her entire life until moving to Vermilion in 1991.Anna was employed as a machine operator for the Moen Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of the St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Lorain, a former member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Lorain, and a founding member of St. Ann's Auxiliary #287 of the Knight of St. John.
Anna enjoyed crocheting, cooking for the church, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons: Nicholas F. and (Susan), of Toledo, Joseph M. (Helen) of Vermilion, 3 grandsons: Samuel M. of Toledo, Michael and Joseph both of Vermilion, brothers William Weigl, of Troy, Donald, of Delaware, and Johnny of Florida, sisters: Velma Bonar, of Las Vegas, and Molly Moldovan, of San Bernardino, CA, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years: Nicholas in 1994, parents: Karl and Anna (Szivan) Weigl, and brothers: Joseph, Karl, and David.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 from 6-8 pm in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where a parastas service will be conducted at 7:00 pm and a rosary service at 6:15 pm conducted by the St. Ann's Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Reverend Father James Batcha, pastor of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
