Helen Radman, 89, Enjoyed Sewing and Quilting

Photo of Helen Radman Helen Radman (nee Naymik), 89, of Lorain, died Thursday February 6, 2003 at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain after a short illness. She was born August 12, 1913 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

Mrs. Radman had worked as a presser at Robinson Dry Cleaners in Lorain.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic Church in Lorain of which her father was one of the original-founding members.

She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was an avid Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan.

She is survived by her daughter Mrs. Richard (Carol A.) Savinsky of Amherst; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sister Mary Endrai of Lorain, brothers John Naymik and Mike Naymik, both of Lorain and special friend Carl Carlson of Wellington. She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Radman in 1979, parents John and Susan (nee Pyeha) Naymik, sisters Ann Huber and Vera Smith and brother Howard Naymik.

The family will receive friends Sunday February 9, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where Parastas services will be held Sunday at 7:30 on, Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by the Divine Liturgy at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas Byzantine Rite Catholic church, 2711 W. 40th St., Lorain. The Rev. James Batcha, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
