Eleanor Carroll Crist, 64, Enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Las Vegas
Eleanor Carroll Crist, age 64, of Clarendon Pennsylvania, formerly of Elyria, passed away Monday, February 3, 2003 in Elyria Memorial Hospital R.M.C. after a short illness. She was born Thursday, Aug. 11, 1938 in Nitro W.Va., living in Lorain County most of her life before moving to Pennsylvania in 1987.She was formerly employed by Dairy Pak in Olmsted Falls, and retired in 2002 from the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Pennsylvania as a waitress. She was also a member of the Moose Lodge of Elyria.
Mrs. Crist enjoyed playing bingo and traveling to Las Vegas.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Randi Rose of Grafton, Ohio, Cindy Schuh of Cincinnati, Ohio and Sandra Youngblood of Elyria, Ohio, 2 Step-sons; Tony Mihalis of Martinsville, Indiana, and Michael Crist of Florida, step daughter Vicki Crist of Columbia Station, Ohio, and 16 grand children and four great grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband Frederick in 1993, sister Gloria Hammond, and her parents Arville & Helena Thompson.
Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton, Ohio Wednesday, February 5, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday in Rest Haven Memory Gardens in Avon, Ohio at 10:30 am with Rev. Chuck Mentrup of Middleton, Ohio. Entombment to follow.
