Virginia E. Wilson, 84, Enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crafts, camping, and traveling
Virginia E. Wilson, age 84, of Sheffield Village, passed away suddenly Friday, January 17, 2003 at University hospitals of Cleveland. She was born September 6, 1918 in Elyria, OH, and has been a life-long resident of the area.Mrs. Wilson was a medical transcriber for the Elyria United Methodist Home, retiring after 20 years of service in 1988. She was a member of the Lorain Eagles Club. She also enjoyed playing cards, sewing, crafts, camping, and traveling.
Survivors include her son James Wilson of Lorain, daughters; Barbara Ann Underwood of Atlanta, GA and Sally Haddox of Lockhart, TX, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband James W. Wilson Sr. in 1968, her brothers Daniel and George Walker, and parents Harry and Minnora (nee Schnarr) Walker.
Friends may call Tuesday January 21, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home 2920 Broadway Lorain, OH. The Funeral will be Wednesday January 22, 2003 at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Underwood officiating. Burial will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio.
